In order to respect the skin’s sensitive nature, the creators of the BIORELINE range have privileged floral water as a vector, to transport these precious ingredients. Floral water, also called hydrolat, is collected after the distillation of a plant. It contains, in small quantities, the same ingredients and properties as the associated essential oil, but in contrast, floral water can be used without any particular precautions.
Used in cosmetics, floral waters correspond to a softer version of aromatherapy, particularly suitable for children and those with sensitive skin.
In BIORELINE products, there is a very weak concentration of essential oils and their role is limited to providing a fresh, light and subtle fragrance.
The vegetable ingredients present in BIORELINE products are gathered using gentle extraction processes such as maceration, distillation, and obtaining oils through cold pressing.
